Our comprehensive cancer center is the first and only one of its kind in the private sector, in Jordan and the region. The uniqueness of our center stems from its unique formula of integrating and combining its extensive experience and its areas of strength, which we’ll mention below, with the cutting-edge technologies, latest equipment and world-class expertise of the Afia Center - our sisterly, cancer-specialized center across the street. Both centers complement and complete each other in the sense that they, combined, are able to offer our patients a complete, highly-integrated protocol for diagnosis and treatment of all types of cancers at all stages, most efficaciously
and efficiently.

KMC’s cancer center is distinguished by:


  • Specialized surgical unit applying both classical and laparoscopic techniques for treating cancer patients.
  • Chemotherapy unit functioning according to international standard levels.
  • Top-of-the-line, specially-equipped bone marrow transplantation unit that contains 3 beds, in which we are performing 20 - 30 cases per year, with a success rate above 85% doing both autologous and allegenic transplantation.
  • Special expertise is available in stem cell and bone marrow transplantation (for hematological and solid tumor malignancies). Sickle Cell Anemia, autoimmune blood disorders, myelodysplastic syndrome, inherited blood disease, such as Thalasemia.
  • Supported by a state-of-the-art, high-tech laboratory services.

  • 3D Tumors Localization and linked with 3D-Planning System
c. 3D-Planning Computerized System Master Plan for:
  • Designing the plan of hitting tumor cells
  • PET-CT Gemini-Philips
  • Gamma Camera 'Sky Light-Philips'
  • Iodine Treatment
  • Bone Densitometry 'IDXA GE Healthcare'

2. Nuclear Medicine Department:


a. PET-CTGemini-Philips:
  • PET-CT and CT scans are both standard imaging tools that physicians use to pinpoint disease states in the body
b. Gamma Camera 'Sky Light-Philips' used for:
  • Bone, Liver and Biliary Tract, Kidney Functions, Lungs, Brain, Endocrine Glands, Lymph Nodes and Myocardial Perfusions Scans
c. Iodine Treatment
d. Bone Densitometry 'IDXA GE Healthcare':
  • Used to test the bone density and determine if a patient has osteoporosis
