The Endoscopy Department is one of the most vital department at Al Khalidi Medical Center.

 There are two endoscopy suites, each of them is  well equipped with Olympus endoscopes and latest machine for Argon Lazer.

• In the first suite there is X-ray screening where diagnostics and therapeutic endoscopy can be done for pancreatic and biliary ducts, such as removal of stone or relieving an obstruction by inserting plastic or metal stents .

• In both suites there are facilities for both diagnostic and therapeutic gastroscopy and colonoscopy, such as treating esophageal varices by rubber band ligation or removal of polyps or controlling bleeding.
