The Department is one of the leading radiological centers in the region, as well as one of the busiest clinical departments in the country. Each year over 50,000 examinations are performed and interpreted by KMC radiologists.

1. Digital X-Ray systems :
- All routine X-rays are digitized which allow storing, transmitting and even enhancing the acquired image to avoid repeat, hence not to expose patients to more radiation.
Allowing:
- Plane X-Ray examination as chest, abdomen, skeletal, sinuses, etc.

- The presence of PACS (Picture Archiving Communication Systems) allows all facilities mentioned in Radiology Department to be linked together via high spread data network receiving images from all modalities and sending images with medical reports all over the hospital.
